Program Overview & Eligibility

Web-AI Institute ("Institute," "we," "us") offers an online AI certificate program consisting of sequential courses covering Google NotebookLM, Prompt Engineering, Intro to Agentic and Generative AI, Vibe Coding with Perplexity Labs, Google AI Studio, Antigravity & Automation Using n8n, and a final certificate upon successful completion. The program is delivered entirely online through our Moodle-based learning management system (LMS).

1.1 Eligibility Requirements

1.2 Non-Degree Status

The Web-AI Institute certificate program is a non-degree, non-accredited professional development program. Completion of the program and issuance of a certificate does not confer academic credit, a college degree, or any state-regulated professional license. The certificate represents the successful completion of the Institute's internal course requirements only.

Section 2

Enrollment & Course Access

Enrollment in the program is initiated when a student completes payment for the Orientation course through the Institute's designated payment processor (PayPal). Access to each subsequent course is automatically granted upon verified completion of the preceding course via the platform's course-completion system.

2.1 Account Security

2.2 Access Period

2.3 Technical Requirements

Students are responsible for ensuring their devices and internet connection meet the minimum requirements for the Moodle LMS platform. The Institute recommends a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — current version), stable broadband internet connection, and, for AI tool courses, a device with a current operating system capable of running browser-based AI applications.

Section 3

Course Conduct & Academic Integrity

The Institute expects all students to engage with course materials honestly, respectfully, and in accordance with these policies. Violations of academic integrity may result in course failure, removal from the program, and forfeiture of any certificate earned.

3.1 Prohibited Conduct

3.2 Respectful Participation

In any discussion forums, live sessions, or communication channels associated with the program, students agree to:

Section 4

Acceptable Use of the Platform

Access to the Institute's learning platform (web-ai-institute.com and web-ai-institute.com/moodle42) is granted for personal educational use only and is subject to the following restrictions.

4.1 Permitted Use

4.2 Prohibited Use

4.3 Third-Party Tools

Several courses require or recommend use of third-party AI platforms (such as Google NotebookLM, Perplexity AI, Google AI Studio, and n8n). Students are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of service of each third-party tool. The Institute is not responsible for changes, outages, or policy modifications by third-party platform providers.

Section 5

Intellectual Property

5.1 Institute-Owned Content

All course content made available through the Institute — including but not limited to videos, written materials, slides, graphics, assessments, code examples, and organizational structure — is the exclusive intellectual property of Web-AI Institute and/or its licensors. All rights are reserved.

Enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes during the access period. This license does not constitute a transfer of ownership of any intellectual property rights.

5.2 Student-Created Work

Original work created by students as part of course exercises (e.g., prompts, workflows, applications) remains the intellectual property of the student, unless submitted to a shared platform as part of a course activity, in which case the student grants the Institute a limited, non-exclusive license to display such work for educational purposes within the platform.

5.3 Feedback & Testimonials

If you submit feedback, testimonials, or reviews about the program, you grant the Institute a perpetual, royalty-free license to use such content in marketing and promotional materials. The Institute will not publicly identify students without their explicit consent.

Section 6

Communication & Student Support

6.1 Primary Communication Channel

The Institute communicates with students primarily via course forums. Students are responsible for ensuring their email address is current and for monitoring communications from the Institute. Important notices — including access changes, policy updates, and certificate delivery — will be sent by email.

6.2 Support Response Times

Support is available Monday–Friday. The Institute is not staffed on federal holidays or during announced operational breaks. Response times are estimates and may vary during high-enrollment periods.

6.3 Progress Check-ins

The Institute may send automated progress check-in messages and milestone acknowledgments. These are intended to support student success and can be opted out of by contacting support@web-ai-institute.com.

Section 7

Accessibility & Accommodations

The Web-AI Institute is committed to making its program accessible to students with disabilities. We strive to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards in our online course delivery.

7.1 Requesting Accommodations

Students who require accommodations due to a documented disability should contact the Institute at support@web-ai-institute.com at least ten (10) business days before beginning the course for which the accommodation is needed. Requests should include a description of the needed accommodation. The Institute will engage in an interactive process to identify reasonable accommodations where feasible.

7.2 Third-Party Content Limitations

Some course content includes embedded third-party tools and platforms (AI tools, external websites). The Institute cannot guarantee the accessibility compliance of third-party platforms but will endeavor to provide alternative access to learning objectives where third-party inaccessibility is identified.

Section 8

Certificate Requirements

Important: The Web-AI Institute certificate is a completion certificate, not an academic degree, professional license, or industry-recognized credential. It certifies that the recipient has completed all required courses in the Institute's AI certificate program.

8.1 Requirements for Certificate

8.2 Certificate Delivery

Upon meeting all completion requirements, the certificate will be automatically generated and delivered to the student's registered email address. The certificate will include the student's name as provided at enrollment, the program title, and the date of completion. Students are responsible for ensuring their name is correctly entered at enrollment, as certificates are generated from registration data.

8.3 Certificate Revocation

The Institute reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it is subsequently determined that the student violated academic integrity policies or obtained the certificate through misrepresentation.

Section 9

Payment, Refunds & Cancellations

9.1 Program Fee

The current program fee is $750.00 USD, payable in full at the time of enrollment through the Institute's payment processor (PayPal). Prices are subject to change; the price in effect at the time of enrollment is binding for that enrollment.

9.2 Refund Policy

To request a refund, contact support@web-ai-institute.com within the applicable window with your name, registered email address, and reason for the request. Approved refunds will be processed within ten (10) business days to the original payment method.

9.3 Chargebacks

Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with PayPal or your financial institution without first contacting the Institute for resolution may result in immediate suspension of your account and forfeiture of course access pending resolution of the dispute.

9.4 Taxes

The program fee may be subject to applicable state or local taxes depending on your jurisdiction. Students are responsible for any taxes applicable to their purchase beyond those collected by the Institute at checkout.

Section 10

Privacy & Data Use

The Institute collects and processes personal data as described in the Web-AI Institute Privacy Policy, available at web-ai-institute.com/privacy. By enrolling in the program, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy.

10.1 Data Collected

10.2 Data Use

Student data is used to: deliver and improve the educational program; communicate with students about their enrollment and progress; comply with legal obligations; and, with consent, for testimonials or case studies. The Institute does not sell personal data to third parties.

10.3 Data Retention

Student records, including completion records, are retained for a minimum of five (5) years following program completion to allow for certificate verification. Students may request deletion of their personal data in accordance with applicable law by contacting support@web-ai-institute.com.

Section 11

Disciplinary Actions & Dismissal

The Institute reserves the right to take disciplinary action up to and including removal from the program for violations of these policies, the Terms of Service, or the Acceptable Use Policy.

11.1 Process

11.2 Appeals

Students who believe a disciplinary action was taken in error may submit a written appeal to support@web-ai-institute.com within ten (10) business days of the disciplinary notice. Appeals will be reviewed and a decision communicated within fifteen (15) business days. The Institute's decision on appeal is final.

Section 12

Policy Updates

The Institute reserves the right to modify this Student Site Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students by email at least fourteen (14) days before the effective date of the change. Continued participation in the program after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

The most current version of this policy is always available at web-ai-institute.com/policies/student-policy. Students are encouraged to review this document periodically.

Governing Law

This Student Site Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bastrop County, Texas.
